These are the last days before the Drama Schools’ Festival, where the jury and the demanding festival audience will see the diploma show of our acting students - EVERYBODY HAS SOME KIND OF DREAMS, very well received after its premiere - directed by Małgorzata Bogajewska. At the threshold of adult life, final-year acting students of the Lodz Film School look at Raymond Carver's texts and, based on them, write a script for their diploma play as a group. They look into a hypothetical future, see it in a distorting mirror and notice everything which may not go as they expected.

They conjure up the existing reality, recalling unfavourable life scenarios to be able to recreate them on stage and thus prevent their implementation. Generational fears, loneliness and misunderstanding; comedy, tragedy and pastiche... In four separate narratives, they talk about what they do not want to experience in the coming future.
